MASTER CYLINDER -> HYDRAULIC BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH

This master cylinder with integrated hydraulic brake light switch controls pressure distribution in the brake system and activates the brake light signal. The 19 mm bore supports stable brake force build up. Three hydraulic ports enable connection of the main brake line and separate brake circuits. The housing is intended for installation in the engine bay and works with common brake pipes and fittings. The hydraulic switch responds to pressure increase in the system and closes the electrical circuit when the pedal is pressed. Designed for the brake system of an older passenger car with drum brakes at the front and rear.
