CONTACT BREAKER DUCELLIER

This contact set is designed for the ignition system of a classic Citroën 2CV. It links the distributor and ignition coil and interrupts current in the primary circuit. This generates the spark for ignition of the mixture in the engine. The part contains a fixed and a movable contact operated by the distributor shaft. The contact surfaces are intended for use in a mechanical contact breaker ignition. The component supports accurate opening and closing of the circuit, which helps the running behaviour of the engine and cold and warm starting together with other ignition parts.
